2. Definitions

  • Website means TrafficManagementJobs.co.uk.
  • Company, we, us, our means Traffic Management Jobs Ltd.
  • User means any person using the Website.
  • Employer means a person or organisation posting a job or using employer services.
  • Candidate or Operative means a person looking for work or applying for jobs.
  • Candidate Information means any personal details of a Candidate that an Employer receives through the Website, including name, contact details, tickets, qualifications, licence details, CV and profile answers.

3. Nature of the Service

TrafficManagementJobs.co.uk is an online job advertising platform for the UK traffic management industry. Employers advertise jobs and Candidates view and apply for them.

We are not an employment agency or a recruitment agency, we do not take commission from wages, and we are not a party to any employment or engagement between an Employer and a Candidate.

We do not guarantee that Employers will find suitable Candidates or that Candidates will find work.

Jobs we list from public adverts. To help Candidates find work in one place, we may list, free of charge, vacancies that an Employer has advertised publicly (for example on its own careers page). These listings are labelled as listed by Traffic Management Jobs. Applications made through these listings are sent to that Employer. An Employer can ask us to change or remove such a listing at any time by contacting us, and we will do so promptly.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • provide false, inaccurate or misleading information;
  • use the Website for fraudulent purposes, or to ask Candidates for money;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or to other users’ accounts;
  • interfere with the Website’s operation or security, or use automated tools to copy (scrape) its content;
  • copy or reproduce Website content without permission.

Every job has a Report this job link. We review reports and may remove listings or accounts.

We may suspend or remove access where these Terms are broken.

5. Employer Terms

Employers must make sure job listings are accurate, genuine, for a real vacancy, and comply with UK law. Employers must not post false or discriminatory adverts, and must not charge Candidates any fee to apply or to be considered.

We approve Employer accounts before they can post. Approval does not guarantee that an Employer is legitimate, and we accept no responsibility for the actions of Employers.

We may edit, set to pending or remove any job listing at our discretion.

One job, one location, one post

Each listing must be for one specific role at one clear location (normally the main depot). If you are hiring for several roles or locations, each must be a separate listing. Describe any wider area you cover (for example “East Midlands”) in the job description.

Candidates should see straight away what the job is, where it is, the tickets needed and the pay. Listings that combine several roles or locations may be split, edited or set to pending.

Posting from a picture, link or text

Our posting tool can read a picture, web page or text you provide and prepare draft listings for you. To do this, the content you provide is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to be read; we do not keep the pictures. You must have the right to use the content you upload, and you must check every draft before posting. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your listings.

Free posting

Posting jobs is free until 1 January 2027. Free listings stay live for 60 days and can be renewed. We will give Employers notice before any charges are introduced.

6. Use of Candidate Information

Employers only receive Candidate Information when a Candidate applies to that Employer’s job. Employers must:

  • use Candidate Information only to consider that Candidate for the job they applied to (or a similar vacancy at the same Employer that the Candidate agrees to);
  • not copy, share, sell or pass Candidate Information to anyone else, or add it to marketing or mailing lists;
  • not contact Candidates who have not applied to them through the Website;
  • keep Candidate Information secure and handle it in line with UK data protection law.

We will suspend or remove accounts that break this section.

7. Candidate Terms

Candidates must make sure their profile, tickets and qualifications are accurate and genuine, and must not impersonate anyone else.

When you apply for a job, your profile is sent to that Employer, including your name, phone number, email address, tickets, Lantra card details, licence answers and anything else on your profile. Your profile is not public, and Employers cannot search for Candidates.

If you switch on job alerts, we will send you jobs by WhatsApp or email. You can turn alerts off at any time in your dashboard, or by replying STOP on WhatsApp.

We accept no responsibility for the actions of Employers.

8. Recruitment and Employment

We do not take part in recruitment decisions, select Candidates, or offer work. Any relationship is solely between the Employer and the Candidate. We accept no liability arising from any employment or engagement.

9. Fees and Payments

The Website is free for Candidates. Posting jobs is currently free for Employers (see section 5). If we introduce paid services, their prices and terms will be shown before you buy. Fees for paid services are non-refundable once the service has been delivered, and paid services increase visibility but do not guarantee applications or hires.

10. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. Please keep one account only; we may remove duplicate accounts.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website (including branding, text and graphics) is owned by or licensed to Traffic Management Jobs Ltd and must not be copied without permission. Employers give us permission to display their listings, company name and logo on the Website and to share listings with job search services such as Google.

12. Website Availability

We aim to keep the Website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and accept no liability for downtime.

13. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for loss of income, business, opportunity or data. We are not responsible for the accuracy of job listings or the conduct of users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Termination

We may suspend or close an account if these Terms are broken. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

15. Privacy

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Website means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
